Native plants exist in the environments that they live in because they are naturally adapted to those environments. Because of this, they require less maintenance than non-native cultivated plants. Whether it be water, feeding, pruning, or other maintenance activities, native plants need less of it. Surprisingly enough, native plants can reduce the amount of work required to maintain your garden or landscaping.
