Basic site survey (click for details)

A basic site survey is an opportunity to identify the edible and medicinal plants that can be found on your property.  The site survey is essentially a free service if you grant us permission to privately document those plants that we identify and grant us limited permission to collect plant material samples from your property.

If you desire to have your property surveyed, but do not want to authorize any plant collection, then a minimal travel charge is required to cover expenses.

The output of the basic site survey is the identification of edible and medicinal plants. No further documentation is provided by us during this service, and the recording of findings are up to you.

Documented site survey (click for details)

A documented site survey builds on the basic site survey. A documented site survey is an opportunity to identify the edible and medicinal plants that can be found on your property. 

The documented site survey is a fee-based service. You irrevocably grant us permission to privately document those plants that are identified on your property.

Plants of interest will be tagged with marking flags bearing a letter code. This letter code will be associated with a single example of each plant of interest. For example, if Plantago major is identified, then the first example of this species will be marked and recorded.

A full site survey builds on the documented site survey. A full site survey is an opportunity to identify the edible and medicinal plants that can be found on your property, and to learn more about their properties and their uses.

The full site survey is a fee-based service. You irrevocably grant us permission to privately document those plants that are identified on your property. Future collection of plant materials is at the discretion of the owner, and will only be conducted if mutually agreed-upon.
